What is the FTC rule for multi-factor authentication?
The FTC Safeguards Rule took effect in June 2023. Among other requirements, this rule requires that businesses implement multi-factor authentication for anyone accessing customer information.

- Click the Account menu in the upper-right portion of the screen.
- Choose the Account Info option
- The 2-Step Verification section will show the types of multi-factor authentication you have turned on and let you edit those options.
