What if I only want to amend my state return?

You can amend just your state return, but it's usually easier to amend both federal and state at the same time (and this usually allows you to e-file!). There is no additional cost to do this and you can just leave your federal return the same.

So, we'll still gather some information about your federal return and we'll help you decide which returns to amend later.
