Where would I report 1099-K information?
Any payments you receive as business or rental income need to be reported on the appropriate schedule. Most people's 1099-K for their trade or business will report payments that would be reported on Schedule C. If your 1099-K reports rental income, you'll report this on Schedule E.
Depending on the type of income on the 1099-K, you can enter the income using one of the following screens:
Menu Path: Income > Business / Rental Income > Business Income (Schedule C)
Menu Path: Income > Business / Rental Income > Rental Income (Schedule E)
Menu Path: Income > Business / Rental Income > Farm Income (Schedule F)
Menu Path: Income > Business / Rental Income > Farm Rental Income (Form 4835)
Menu Path: Income > Common Income > Investments and Savings (1099-INT/DIV/B/DA)
If you're not sure what type of income is reported on your 1099-K, we can help you determine that by going to: Menu Path: Income > Business / Rental Income > 1099-K Income
After you enter your 1099-K income, you can enter any total withholdings from Form 1099-K on this screen:
Menu Path: Misc > Payments > Extension and Other Payments
