How many years of college have I completed if I wasn't a full-time student each year or if I got college credit in high school?

You've completed the first 4 years of postsecondary education before 2025 if the college where you're enrolled has awarded you 4 years of academic credit for coursework you completed before 2025. If you're unsure whether you've already been awarded 4 years of credit, check your transcript or contact your college.

Exception: Disregard any academic credit awarded solely on the basis of your performance on proficiency examinations (for example, AP exams).
