Do you answer tax questions?
Many tax questions can be answered within the software's tax help search box. If you can't find an answer you can send your question to our customer support personnel, and they can give general tax information or help guide you within the software. We also have two upgrades available if you need more assistance.
The Deluxe Support upgrade includes Priority Support (your support questions will be prioritized), Live Chat, and Unlimited Amendments.
The Pro Support upgrade includes everything from Deluxe and also provides the option to schedule a phone call or participate in a live chat with an expert (a licensed CPA or EA).
You can add these support upgrades by clicking Support near the top right of the screen and choosing either Live Chat or Pro Support.
If you need help from the IRS you can try calling 1-800-829-1040 to speak to an IRS representative (this typically has a long wait time), make an appointment with your local Taxpayer Assistance Center, or use the IRS website which includes an extensive list of frequently asked questions and tax law help .
