What if my address changed?
If you moved or changed your address since the last time you filed a tax return, check the box that indicates your address changed. The IRS will update their records to the new one when you file.
The IRS requires you to use a current address no matter which year you are filing. Do not file using an old address.
Be sure you file the correct state since the software may recommend a different one if your current address doesn't match where you lived during the tax year you are filing. You will be able to choose that when you come to the State menu.
