What is the Vermont Renter Credit Claim?
The Vermont Renter Credit Claim (Form RCC-146) refunds eligible renters a portion of rent paid. This credit is calculated by the Vermont Department of Taxes once the credit claim is filed.
Your landlord should complete and submit Form LRC-140, Landlord Certificate and LRC-147, Statement of Rent for Mobile Home Park Lot Rent, Co-ops, and Land Trusts to the Vermont Department of Taxes for your claim to be processed.
Form RCC-146, Renter Credit Claim is due by October 15, 2026. Claims received after this date cannot be accepted.
