Can I file just a state tax return?
Yes.
On the Filing Method screen, choose Mail your federal tax return to the question that asks how you would like to file your federal return. You can then either choose to e-file your state return or to mail the state return.
We'll prompt you to mail your federal return, but you can ignore that if you've already filed your federal tax return.
