The Home Heating Credit (HHC) is designed to assist low income families living in Michigan with the cost of heating their homes.

If you have a child who you don't claim as a dependent but over whom you are the custodial parent, go back to the federal dependents screen and enter the child as a "Not a dependent (EIC/Child Care Credit only)" dependent.
