Where do I enter my unreimbursed job expenses for the Form 2106 ?

Unreimbursed job expenses are entered in the Itemized Deductions section of the software. Select Deductions / Credits on the menu bar, Itemized Deductions on the drop-down menu, then click on the Unreimbursed Job Expenses link. If your Standard Deduction is more than your Itemized Deductions, Schedule A and Form 2106 will not print with your tax return and you will not get any benefit from the unreimbursed job expenses. Unreimbursed job expenses are also subject to a reduction based on 2% of Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) so part of the expenses will not end up in Itemized Deductions.
